Context:

The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) organised the 7th Anubhav Awards ceremony for the recognition of contributions made by Central Government employees in service.

Details

A 55th Pre-Retirement Counseling Workshop was held on August 28, 2024, at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi by the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW).
The workshop was designed for Central Government employees retiring by March 31, 2025.
The 7th Anubhav Awards ceremony, also held on August 28, 2024, celebrated the contributions of Central Government employees during their service.

About Anubhav Awards

Anubhav Awards were introduced by the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) in 2016 to facilitate the sharing of experience gained during service while working under the Government.
It follows from the Anubhav portal that was launched in March 2015.
- - The portal is supposed to be used as an online space for retiring civil servants — so that they can archive all the key experiences and insights discovered during their work experience.
The main objective is to create a repository of knowledge that can influence future administrative reforms and enhance governance practices.
The Award includes a medal, a certificate, and a monetary incentive of Rs. 10,000.
