The Department of Posts under the Minister of Communications has launched “Dak Karmayogi: E-Learning Platform”.
‘Dak Karmayogi’ portal will enhance the skill and capacity of about 4 lakh Gramin Dak Sevaks and Departmental employees.
The Portal will provide standardized training content to enable the Gramin Dak Sevaks and Departmental employees to enhance customer satisfaction.
- After successful completion of the training, a certificate will be sent to the registered email ID.
- Trainees can also give their feedback, ratings and suggestions.
The Ministry has also conferred ‘Meghdoot Awards’ to recognize the good performance of the Department of Posts employees.
- Meghdoot Award was started in 1984.
- It is the highest award of the Department of Posts at the National level for overall performance and excellence.
- The award is conferred in 8 categories.
- Awardees get a medal, certificate and cash award of Rs. 21,000/-.
The portal will work under the vision of ‘Mission Karmayogi’.
- Mission Karmayogi was initiated with a vision to bring efficiency in the working of Government employees and enhance the efficiency of bureaucracy with the goal of ‘Minimum Government’ and ‘Maximum Governance’.
