History:
In 2008, the Indian government established January 24 as National Female Child Day, with the goal of improving societal awareness of the girl child so that she might be loved and respected.
Ministry:
It is a project led by the Ministry of Women and Child Development with the goal of providing support and opportunity to Indian girls.
Objective:
It is commemorated to promote public awareness of inequality, prejudice, and exploitation that girls suffer in society.
Its goal is to raise awareness about a girl's rights and provide her with equal possibilities as everyone else, as well as to support the nation's female children and eliminate gender biases.
