• Prerana is a week-long residential program.

• A batch of 20 selected students (10 boys and 10 girls) from various parts of the country will attend the program every week.
• Students can register through the portal, and the selection process includes evaluations based on the ethos of Prerana, conducted at the school/block level on designated 'Prerana Utsav' days.

Curriculum

• The curriculum is rooted in nine value-based themes:
  • Swabhiman and Vinay (Self-respect and Humility)
  • Shaurya and Sahas (Courage and Adventure)
  • Parishram and Samarpan (Hard Work and Dedication)
  • Karuna and Sewa (Compassion and Service)
  • Vividhta and Ekta (Diversity and Unity)
  • Satyanishtha and Shuchita (Truthfulness and Purity)
  • Navachar and Jigyasa (Innovation and Curiosity)
  • Shraddha aur Vishwas (Faith and Confidence)
  • Swatantrata and Kartavya (Freedom and Responsibility)
• Prepared by IIT Gandhi Nagar, the program aims to inspire youth and foster respect for Bharat's unity in diversity, aligning with the vision of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam."
• Participants will be guided by mentors from prestigious institutions throughout the program.

Activities

• The day-wise schedule includes yoga, mindfulness, meditation sessions, experiential learning, thematic sessions, and hands-on activities.
• Evening activities involve visits to ancient heritage sites, inspirational film screenings, talent shows, etc.

Holistic Learning Approach

• Participants engage in diverse activities, embracing indigenous knowledge systems, state-of-the-art technologies, and insights from inspirational personalities.

Community Impact

• Participants are expected to carry the ethos of Prerana into their communities, becoming change-makers and inspiring positive change after completing the program.
