Details

  • Phangnon Konyak was among the four women Parliamentarians who were nominated by the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, M. Venkaiah Naidu, to the panel of Vice-Chairpersons for the Monsoon Session.
    • The other three women were P.T. Usha, Sulata Deo and Fauzia Khan.
  • Konyak, who belongs to the Naga People's Front (NPF), expressed her gratitude to the Chairman and the members of the House for allowing her to chair the proceedings.
