What is Starship?

  • Starship is a two-stage heavy-lift vehicle designed to transport crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
  • The combined system, comprising the Super Heavy booster and the Starship spacecraft, stands nearly 120 meters tall, making it the largest rocket ever flown, surpassing even the Saturn V, which was 111 meters tall.
